CLIENT: MORRIS INSURANCE
BRIEF:
Park Creative was tasked with redesigning the Morris Insurance logo to modernize the brand while preserving its heritage. We kept the iconic steam engine tractor, symbolizing strength and reliability, as the focal point. The tractor’s silhouette is simplified with clean lines and modern contours, retaining its vintage feel while offering a sleek, minimalist look. This updated logo balances tradition and innovation, honouring the company’s history while positioning it as a forward-thinking leader in the insurance industry.

Robert J. Morris is a family-owned company providing insurance and financial services in Ontario. The company’s roots trace back to 1903 when the Watson/Morris family began serving the agricultural community in Queensville, Ontario, offering custom threshing services with a steam-powered traction engine. Led by Albert Watson, Robert’s grandfather, the business thrived until 1928.
From 1944 to 1954, Robert’s father, James Morris, expanded the business by providing custom trucking services for livestock, later transitioning into the mink ranching industry from 1956 to 1966. Robert himself began working for Master Feeds in 1967, developing feeding programs and assisting farmers with financing. In 1974, he joined Toronto Dominion Bank before starting his own insurance brokerage in 1986, which is now managed by his son, Sheldon Morris.
